SF Day School Community Service Day
San Francisco
2025
San Francisco Day School Community Service Day brought students, parents, and faculty together in a citywide effort to give back. Student volunteers and chaperones traveled to the Marin Food Bank, where they sorted and packed fresh produce for families facing food insecurity, directly supporting thousands of Bay Area residents. Another team served at City Hope in San Francisco’s Tenderloin, preparing and sharing warm meals while building connections with neighbors experiencing homelessness. The day embodied SF Day School’s commitment to empathy, civic engagement, and hands-on learning—showing students that service isn’t just an event, but a way to strengthen community and create lasting change.
